About Resurrection Bay
Resurrection Bay is a deep glacial fjord near Seward that serves as a gateway to some of Alaska's finest saltwater fishing in the Gulf of Alaska. The bay's protected waters make it accessible even when ocean conditions are rough.
The Seward Silver Salmon Derby, held each August, is one of Alaska's longest-running fishing tournaments.
