About Enid Lake

Enid Lake is another of the north Mississippi hill country reservoirs, offering excellent crappie and bass fishing in a scenic setting. The lake is part of the Yocona River watershed and provides flood control for the Yazoo Basin.

Crappie fishing is the primary draw, with the standing timber in the upper lake holding concentrations of fish during the cooler months. Largemouth bass fishing is productive along the lake's creek channels and weed lines. The relatively remote location keeps fishing pressure moderate. Several Corps ramps provide access to different sections of the lake.
