About Sardis Lake
Sardis Lake is the largest of the four flood-control reservoirs in north Mississippi's hill country, located near the college town of Oxford. The lake's fertile water and abundant structure create an outstanding fishery.
Largemouth bass grow to impressive sizes in the lake's stained water, with fish exceeding 10 pounds documented. Crappie fishing is exceptional during winter and spring, with brush piles producing consistent catches. Catfishing for flathead and channel cats is productive on the lower end near the dam. Multiple Corps of Engineers ramps provide access around the lake.
